It’s not every day you come across a citrusy, herbaceous natural from Uganda. Mojito comes to us from Mountain Harvest, a producer and exporter led by Kenneth Barigye, a champion of equitable and sustainable coffee practices. This lot was processed at Mountain Harvest’s Rwenzori Station using cherries from smallholder farms across the Kasese and Bunyangabu districts. The cherries are floated, sorted, and dried to 11% moisture before heading to Mbale for milling and export. The cup profile is equal parts fruity citrus, nutty sweet and effervescently herbaceous.
