Floral coffee is all about nuance, aroma, and quiet complexity. These are the kinds of coffees that offer more than just flavor—they carry scent, structure, and grace that unfold with each sip. When brewed with care, floral coffees can feel like a tea-like experience with soft perfume-like qualities. They’re for drinkers who enjoy subtlety and the space to explore it.

This collection brings together coffees that naturally produce notes like jasmine, rose, orange blossom, or lavender. Those aromas aren’t added or infused—they’re built into the seed, shaped by the soil, variety, and processing method. Most of the offerings here are lightly roasted to preserve that delicate character and keep the structure clean.

These coffees tend to be washed processed, which means the fruit is removed before drying. That allows for clarity and brightness in the final cup. If you’re drawn to those refined profiles, our Washed Processed Coffees collection is worth exploring. It shares the same clean finish and crisp acidity that lets florals come through naturally.

Floral notes are most common in East African coffees, especially those from Ethiopia. The high elevation, heirloom varieties, and careful processing all combine to produce that soft, fragrant lift you’ll notice the moment the grounds bloom. Other origins can express these notes too, but Ethiopian coffees remain the standard for floral expression.

These coffees are best brewed with pour-over methods, like a V60 or Chemex, where you can control variables and let the aromatics shine. They’re also great in AeroPress with a lighter touch. French press or immersion brewers can mute the top-end notes, so we suggest keeping things clean and filter-based.

Floral coffees often go hand in hand with fruity coffees. Both show off the more expressive side of specialty coffee and invite you to slow down and pay attention. If you’re curious about coffees that combine floral aroma with bright, sweet fruit, check out our Fruity Coffees. They bring a similar energy with a slightly louder flavor profile.

This collection isn’t about bold or heavy cups. It’s about balance and detail. You’ll notice how the flavors shift as the cup cools. What starts as subtle becomes more pronounced, and the more attention you give it, the more it gives back.

These coffees are often seasonal, with certain lots only available for a short time. We keep the lineup fresh by sourcing what’s tasting best from the current harvest. If you find one that speaks to you, it’s worth picking up more while it’s still around.

Floral coffees offer a quiet kind of beauty. They don’t demand attention, but they reward it. For anyone who values aroma, structure, and softness in the cup, this collection delivers something unique and memorable.

We roast and ship Mon-Fri. Most U.S. orders arrive 1-3 business days after shipping. Faster options are available at checkout. We ship coffees between 0-4 days off-roast for proper degassing and aim to get them to you by 7 days off-roast, our minimum preferred degassing period.

Coffees taste best when they’ve had a moment to breathe, and this is especially true for coffees roasted on air roasters like our Loring. Allowing the coffee to rest after roasting enhances its flavor and balance.

We recommend at least a seven day rest if brewing the coffee on espresso, with the best results falling in the 10-21 days off-roast window. For filter, five days minimum will yield the best results, with the optimal taste coming in the 8-17 days off roast range.

To preserve freshness, we recommend storing all coffees in airtight containers and consuming them within 30 days. However, if stored properly, you can still achieve quality results up to 60 days off roast.
